Warranty Conditions
The manufacturer warrants BREIL watches to the original purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase and guarantees the purchased watch against material and manufacturing defects. This warranty does not affect the purchaser’s statutory warranty rights under the laws of the country of purchase. This warranty does not cover wear and tear or alterations to the case, band and glass, nor water damage (unless marked “water resistant” on the case back of the watch).
This warranty does not apply if the watch is damaged due to accident, neglect, improper use or other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship. The retailer assumes responsibility for any form of warranty offered to the consumer. Only the movement, hands and dial of the watch are covered by the warranty for the entire warranty period. The movement, hands and dial of the watch will be repaired free of charge or the watch will be replaced (at the sole discretion of the BREIL Authorized Service Center) if it has not been misused and if there is a proven defect in material or construction. In case of replacement, BINDA ITALIA srl does not guarantee that a watch of the same model will be supplied. If such a model is not available, a similar model of equivalent value will be supplied. The warranty on the watch supplied is for two years from the date of delivery. Shipping costs for international addresses must be quoted separately.
Request for intervention
In the event of a problem with your watch, please send the complete original copy of the warranty certificate, the purchase receipt or other suitable proof of purchase and a description of the problem to the nearest BREIL Authorized Service Center. To find the BREIL Authorized Service Centers in the different countries, the buyer can consult the website www.breil.it in the “Service Centers” section, or if in Italy, contact the toll free number 02 39 245 301. Postage, packaging and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend that you insure the package as it is the responsibility of the buyer to send the Watch to the nearest BREIL Authorized Service Center. The buyer must also ensure that the watch is adequately protected during shipping. Please also send the watch without its case. With respect to non-warranty work on the battery, glass, case or the replacement of the crown of the bracelet or strap, BREIL Authorized Service Centers will invoice the Buyer for the services required depending on the type of watch and the work required. The amount to be charged may vary. In order to receive confirmation of the amount of the expected charge, the Buyer may call the BREIL Authorized Service Center.
